Don't compromise your palette. While embroidery is limited to 12 thread colors, our printed patches utilize the full CMYK spectrum.

• Gradients & Shadows: Perfectly reproduce the fade of a sunset, metallic shines, or 3D rendering effects that threads simply cannot replicate.   
• Photographic Fidelity: Print actual photos of people, landscapes, or complex album covers.

Thread has thickness and therefore some limitations; ink less so.

• Ideal for QR codes, technical specs, or detailed slogans. Note that legibility also depends on color choice and contrast.   
• Clean Lines: No "jump stitches" or thread breaks. Just sharp, continuous lines exactly as you designed them.

Printed patches offer a sleek, low-profile finish. They sit flatter against the garment than heavy embroidery, making them the preferred choice for lightweight performance fabrics, activewear, and modern 5-panel caps where you want branding without the bulk.

A common misconception is that printed patches are just "stickers." Ours are engineered textile products designed for industrial longevity. They are made using high-quality sublimation or digital printing. This allows for accurate color reproduction and sharp details, making them ideal for branding, fashion, or promotional use.

Dye Sublimation: A Molecular Bond

We don't just print on the fabric; we dye into it. During our sublimation process, solid ink is heated into a gas that penetrates the twill fibers of the patch base.   

• Fade Resistant: Because the color is locked inside the fiber molecule (not sitting on top like screen print), making the patch more resistant to fading.   
• Zero-Hand Feel: The design is smooth to the touch. It won't crack, peel, or feel "plastic" like a vinyl transfer.
• Washability: Printed patches are safe for machine washing. Your branding stays vibrant, wash after wash.

Professional Edge Finishing

The border defines the quality of the patch. We offer three distinct finishes to match your aesthetic:

• Merrowed Border (The Classic): A thick, overlocked thread border that wraps around the edge. This provides the traditional "patch" look, seals the fabric against fraying, and adds a rugged frame to your art. Recommended for uniforms and jackets.   
• Laser Cut (The Modern): For complex, irregular shapes where a thick border would distract from the design. A precision laser cuts and cauterizes the fabric edge, creating a seamless, floating appearance.   

How you apply your patch is just as important as how it looks. We offer a range of backing options:

• Iron-On (Commercial Grade): Our most popular option. We use a commercial-grade Polyamide (PA) heat seal that forms a strong molecular bond with cotton and polyester blends. Easy to apply with a home iron or heat press.   
• Sew-On: The archival standard. Includes a structural backing layer for stability during sewing. Best for leather jackets, denim, and heavy-duty workwear.
• Velcro (Hook & Both sides): The tactical standard. Available as Hook-only (to attach to existing gear) or a full 2-piece set. Often used for military, airsoft, and interchangeable staff uniforms.   
• Peel & Stick: A temporary adhesive for events, conventions, or non-fabric surfaces like laptops and hard cases.

From standard 0.31-inch circles for morale patches to massive 7.86-inch back patches, we’ve got you covered. In our uploader, you can select the size easily based on inches or centimeters. Furthermore, you order patches in different shapes: 

• Standard geometric shapes such as circles, Squares, Rectangles, Shields.
• Custom die-cut shapes that follow the exact outline of your uploaded design, character, or logo.

To get the best result, start with high-quality artwork. Order your printed patches easily by following these steps:

1. Create your art in Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva.
2. Pro Tip: Use CMYK color mode for the most accurate color output.
3. Resolution: Ensure files are at least 300 DPI. 
4. Using vector files like SVG, AI, or PDF for sharp lines and easy scaling
5. Raster images (JPG or PNG) should be at least 300 DPI
6. Use our intuitive upload tool. Select your size, edge finish, and backing.
7. Our experts check every file. When requested, we send you a photo proof to ensure the colors pop and the borders are precise.
8. We sublimate, cut, and ship your retail-ready patches directly to your door after 10 to 14 business days.

Printed patches are made by printing a design directly onto fabric using sublimation or digital print methods. They differ from embroidered or woven patches by offering smooth finishes and vibrant, full-color reproduction.

Printed patches are highly durable. Because we use dye sublimation, the ink is chemically bonded to the fabric fibers. They withstand normal machine washing without bleeding. Like all textiles, avoid bleach and prolonged exposure to direct, harsh sunlight to maintain maximum vibrancy over years of use.

For garments that need extra resilience, consider combining your patch with iron-on labels or DTF heat transfer labels.

Merrowed edge is a thick, stitched border (overlock) that wraps around the patch edge, classic and durable. A Laser Cut edge has no stitching; the fabric is sealed by a laser. Laser cut is best for complex shapes or designs where you don't want a visible frame.

While embroidery requires picking the "closest" thread color, printing allows us to dial in specific CMYK values to match your brand's Pantone colors much more accurately.

You can print a photograph on a printed patch. This is the primary advantage of printed patches over embroidery. We can reproduce photographs, paintings, and digital art. Do note that the result does depend on the colors, contrasts and level of detail.
